Hans S. Pate was born in Indianapolis, and raised in Kokomo, Indiana. He graduated from Kokomo High School. Mr. Pate then did his undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Bloomington, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor concentration in Spanish in 1992.
Upon graduation, Mr. Pate attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree. Mr. Pate utilized his law background during the following three years as a State Farm Insurance Claims Adjuster handling auto injury cases in the State of Indiana. Mr. Pate gained very valuable experience and knowledge about how insurance companies value cases, and he uses that knowledge in representing his injured clients and their families in order to maximize the amount of compensation that they receive for their legal claims.
From 2001-2003, Mr. Pate worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, prosecuting felony drug cases with superior results. Mr. Pate gained valuable jury trial experience during this time and won many jury trials. From 2003-2004, Mr. Pate worked as an associate attorney with Davis & Murrell Law Firm, P.C., in Kokomo, Indiana. From 2004-2007, Mr. Pate became a partner in Davis & Pate Law Firm, P.C. During those five years, he handled a varied caseload, including probate and trust administration, comprehensive estate planning, personal injury and other civil litigation, real estate law, corporate formation, landlord / tenant, contract preparation, immigration and naturalization, creditor’s rights, guardianships and adoptions.
In October 2007, Mr. Pate opened his own law office, Pate Law Office and continues to practice in all of the areas listed above. In his free time, Mr. Pate enjoys spending time with his wife, Karolina, and their three children, Sophia, Alana and George.
